Morjim
Located 350 meters from the villa, Morjim Beach is a beautiful quiet beach, great for swimming. In season a few shacks are given licenses to operate serving cocktails, fresh sea food and local Goan Cuisine. Beach umbrellas and loungers are available for a nominal cost. This is one of the last refuges of the highly endangered Olive Ridley turtle. The beach is a designated and protected habitat for the turtle species. Morjim beach is a popular destination for nature lovers and conservation enthusiasts.

Chapora & Vagator
Located 5 kms from Villa Morjim, the old Portuguese Chapora Fort stands on a hill which looks down on the tiny Chapora village, the estuary, the coconut groves and the beach. With their hidden sandy coves and creeks, Chapora and Vagator are easily amongst the most beautiful beaches in Goa. Besides Little Vagator Beach, North Goa's beaches are quite peaceful. There are several restaurants with cuisine from all over the world including Greek, French, and Italian.

Mandrem and Arambol Beach
Located 15 kms north of Villa Morjim, Arambol Beach is a beautiful stretch of silky sand with a hippie vibe. The beach has an interesting local market selling handicrafts and trinkets along with several restaurants, cafes and music joints. Arambol tends to get lively at night as the restaurants pull out their tables into the sand.

Anjuna Beach
Located 10 kms by road from Villa Morjim, is a stretch of straight sand, with a backdrop of feathery coconut groves. It’s a big favorite with backpackers and travelers staying on for a long time. Anjuna beach became a haven of the flower children. The beach still has an intoxicating atmosphere and draws a motley crowd of hippies, travelers, philosophers, thinkers, babacools, rastamen and musicians. It’s a great place to meet people and generally collect material for a thesis on human psychology. Anjuna is known for its flea market, held under the shady coconut groves, every Wednesday. You can pick up trinkets, get a tattoo, or just hang around to enjoy the crazy colorful atmosphere.

Aswem Beach
Located 1.5 kms from the Villa, Aswem beach is dotted with upscale restaurants and bars, and has a Riviera kind of atmosphere. You can access this beach from Morjim Beach or by road.

Located in the fishing village of Morjim (North Goa), in the midst of coconut groves, this river front estate is 350 meters from the meeting point of the River Chapora and the Arabian Sea. The Villa is in close proximity of the pristine beaches of Morjim and Aswem and is located close to some of the finest restaurants and bars in North Goa. A quick 20 minute drive can get one to Anjuna, Baga and Calangute.

Anjuna Flea Market
Every Wednesday, a flea market is held at Anjuna beach. This market is very popular among the tourists and is spread over the Anjuna coastline where everything under the sun can be found. The origins of the flea market are dedicated to the hippies who frequented the beach from the early 1960’s along with their craze for trance music. One can buy anything from a second hand bike to miniature items and trinkets. You can get a haircut, eat and feast on delicious goan delicacies and other cuisines as well as get inked.

Mackie’s Saturday Night Bazaar
This Goan run night-market is located north of the Baga River. To get there follow the windy road that heads south from Oxford Stores until you hit the T junction at Baga river, the entrance is just across the road to the left. Indian store-holders are concentrated in the first section, in the middle is a large bandstand with live music and a bar. Past the bandstand are the westerner stalls and the food stalls.

Ingo’s Saturday Night Bazaar
This one is a must go, more diversity in the shops, good quality items, food stands but also usually more crowded. Many foreigners are running businesses in this market and you can buy anything from didgeridoos to handmade leather goods to sunglasses and trinkets. It's on the way to Arpora from Anjuna.

La Plage
La Plage is one of the most stylish beach restaurants on the globe - delicious caramelised tuna, heavenly chocolate crepes, immaculate ceviche and a clutch of elegant Italian and French patrons. The gorgeous restaurant is located on Aswem Beach, less than a 10 minute drive from the Villa.

Sublime
This restaurant offers a feet-in-the-sand, dine-all-day experience and continues with its signature fusion cuisine, blending formal gourmet styles with touches of inspirations from across Asia and Goa. The menu changes annually to keep it creative except a few favorite dishes like the Sesame Tuna and Blue Cheese Stuffed Beef, which are always available.

Fish 'n' Feni
For the ultimate seafood lunch there is no better place than Fish n Feni. The fresh red snapper in goan spices, the butter garlic crab, ice cold Feni, and the beautiful view of the beach make the recipe for an ideal Goan afternoon.

Jardin D’Ulysse
Located 100 metres from the Villa, Jardin D’Ulysse is making a splash in the restaurant scene in Morjim, with its wide choice of continental and Goan cuisine. Run by Gilbert and Fleur, a charming couple, this restaurant is a Morjim favourite because of their personal attention to guests. Do reserve their river-view decks built as treehouses.
