MyIndianStay allows hosts to choose among four standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, Strict and NoRefund) that we will enforce to protect both guest and host alike. Each listing and reservation on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. Guests may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their travel plans and then clicking 'Cancel' on the appropriate reservation

For any cancellation done by the 'Guest', the amount of refund will depend on the cancellation policy pre-agreed between the 'Host' and the 'Guest'. Below is the explanation for each of the cancellation policy and the implied refund

Flexible: Full refund 1 day prior to arrival, except fees

  • If the 'Guest' cancels the booking full 24 hours prior to property's local check in time (or 12:00 noon if not specified by the 'Host') on the day of check in, then his full booking amount, except the MyIndianStay service fees, is refunded

 

Moderate: Full refund 5 days prior to arrival, except fees

  • If the 'Guest' cancels the booking 5 full days prior to property's local check in time (or 12:00 noon if not specified by the 'Host') on the day of check in, then his full booking amount, except the MyIndianStay service fees, is refunded
  • If the 'Guest' cancels less than 5 full days before check-in, no amount is refunded
  • If the 'Guest' arrives and leaves early, the amount to be refunded will depend on the mutual agreement between 'Host' and 'Guest' and the 'Host' will pay it directly to the 'Guest'

 

Strict: 50% refund up until 1 week prior to arrival, except fees

  • If the 'Guest' cancels the booking 7 full days prior to property's local check in time (or 12:00 noon if not specified by the 'Host') on the day of check in, then his 50%  booking amount, except the MyIndianStay service fees, is refunded
  • If the 'Guest' cancels less than 7 full days before check-in, no amount is refunded

 

NoRefund: No refund up

  • No refunds on cancellation for the booking
